Ok, so let's start with the packaging. As soon as this came into my possession I was instantly in love, the rose gold packaging with the gold writing made me swoon. Brownie points to Urban Decay for that! After admiring the packaging for a good minute I finally looked inside and what I seen made me drool.
As an avid lover of the colour pink and being drawn to glitter and sparkles like a deranged magpie I could not be any more excited over the array of pink/rosy colours in this palette. With the perfect mix of both matte shades and shimmery shades I am completely smitten. After playing around with the colours for a while, I think my perfect combination of colours is a sweep of dust over the lid, some factory in the crease, liar in the outer corner and a subtle highlight of strange in the inner corner. As with all the naked palettes the colours are very pigmented and there is a colour to suit every occasion. When this was first launched I was so excited but I wasn't sure how wearable the colours would be as I have found wearing any type of pink made me look like I had a good old cry at a chick flick marathon! However when i tried this out I could not be more wrong, the colours are super wearable and very blendable and there is not a colour in the palette that I don't love!
As a base for this I tend to either use my Urban Decay primer potion to keep to the theme or I use my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 65- Pink Gold to make the colour a bit bolder (which is looking a bit shabby now, oops!).
I was also very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the brush! In palettes I've collected before it isn't long before the brush gets thrown away in favour of my Real Techniques or Mac brushes, but the brush in this palette is fantastic. One end is good for packing the colour on the lid and for a more intense colour i like to spray it with my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray then pressing it on. The other end of the brush is good for blending, it has soft fibres however it isn't as fluffy as I like my blending brushes to be, but nevertheless it does the job well (I am rather picky).
So out of the three Naked palettes I feel I can say with some confidence that this is my favourite of of all of them, dare I say it, my favourite of all my palettes... and that is quite a bold statement! Well done Urban Decay, you have done it again!
